Steve Zener celebrated his 26th Anniversary and it was another joy-filled celebration of life, friendship, music and dance, as well as a patriotic salute to the men and women of our Military Services. He takes great pleasure in producing high-quality, all inclusive events to enthusiastic social and competitive dancers who enjoy country and swing dancing. Dance Competitions are in affiliation with the United Country Western Dance Council, the 2010 AANCE Tour, the World Swing Dance Council and the Masters National Swing Dance Championships. On these pages you'll find a wealth of information about dance events past, present, and future. We welcome everyone and hope to see you one day soon at one of our Dancer Friendly events. Thanks to all who attended and made the event special in so many ways.
For those of you dropping by this web site after the 2010 event - I'd like to personally thank all who attended this year and helped to make the event so very special. I'm grateful The energy was tremendous, we raised nearly $4,000.00 for the USO, we gave away over $12,000.00 in prize money to contest winners. Tiffany Lorenzen and her cast provided fabulous entertainment for the USO Show. Dan Marquardt and Scott Mason created a 1st class tribute to our country and the service men and women of today as well as all those who came before us to build our great nation. About 600 attended this year, and I hope all have vowed to return with friends next year. I firmly believe the Karaoke Party was better than ever this year, as was the Gong Show. Sophisticated Swing (3 couples) made its debut at the event this year, and the Master's Solo Tour (7 couples) returned for a second year. Both contests were great. And the Novice and Intermediate Divisions were awarded AANCE Points as FreZno is now part of the new AANCE Tour of Events for 2010. The ballroom music provided by Dave Muzii and Glenn Cravalho working together was 'over the top'. All in all - a great event enjoyed by all. Thank you to my talented and wonderful staff and crew - this effort would be impossible without your support. And lastly - congratulations to all the competitors - win or lose, you were a shining star on our dance floor. We hope to see you back next year in 2011 for our next theme party - The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly! Heros and Villians.

FRESNO DANCE CONVENTION - AT ITS VERY BEST
Fabulous dance event.
Rich in Fun, frolic and good times.
Excellent dancing on many levels.
Zealous dancers who are passionate for “dance” and want to share their talents.
No better Master of Ceremonies than “STEVE ZENER”.
Others’ have tried to imitate, but Frezno Dance Convention is still the best.
Dance music superb - with a “second to none sound system”.
Ample food at each Dinner feast, with Ice Cream Socials, complimentary beer, jello shooters, and an array of snack foods.
Never a dull moment, unless “you” choose to have one.
Can’t say enough for the fabulous dance competitions.
Energy supplied by great DJ’s. Great Hotel (Radisson - with a sensitive staff).
Can I get an Amen ---- especially on Monday morning for all of the great Military Veterans.
Over the years this event is the best of them all.
Not attending will leave a void in your dance world for the rest of the year.
Victory at each workshop, as you will definitely learn from these professionals.
Entering the contests will allow you to bond with the best of the best.
Never an unkind word, and all are there for the same reason - DANCE, DANCE, DANCE.
Twenty four years (pre-Silver Anniversary) and getting better every year.
Interest yourself and take a trip to the Pizza party and listen to great vocal talent.
Once you are there you no longer have worries, problems or any bad moods.
Never will you see a more beautiful group of dancing friends.
Thank you Steve Zener - for your efforts that bring joy to our lives.
From a friend, a dancer, and someone who always wants to be one of “this” crowd.
