Greetings Steve
Another Frezno Dance Classic has come and gone, and I thought I would offer my perspective to you Steve. As always, you put on a fantastic event. From the moment one arrives until one leaves, one cannot help but have a great experience. I have attended your events in the past, but this time, I stopped and thought about just why this event is special. One of a kind, even.
You make Frezno not just about dancers, but for dancers. There is certainly a unique atmosphere at your event. From the moment I walked into the hotel, through the atrium, past the smaller workshop ballroom, and into the main ballroom, I noticed an attention to detail that you strive to achieve, and succeed at very well. Throughout the weekend you provide a happy hour, ice cream socials, jello shooters, a karaoke party, a 50-50 drawing, a cabaret show - well, you know what you provide, and I only have so much bandwidth for the size of this email! I know you have worked hard over the years with the hotel in order to convince them to allow you to provide the activities you provide. It shows how much you care about the experience you deliver to those who attend.
And your staff is certainly on your side. You have selected them well, and have ensured that they follow your directives on how to best treat, serve, and entertain the attendees, and how to deliver a great event. And the attitude of everyone who attends certainly helps. Not surprisingly, the attendees got this attitude because of what they experienced at their very first Frezno event. They experienced not only great workshops, fun activities, entertaining shows, phenomenal social dancing, and well run contests with great judges, but a warm and hearty welcome from all who are involved in seeing this event through from start to finish. You can't help but continue to bring that attitude to Frezno every time you attend.
I can't imagine sitting around at Frezno wondering "Well, what do I want to do next?" I plan my activities at this event not so that I won't be bored, but rather, so that I won't miss out on anything. Thanks again Steve, for making your event for dancers of all persuasions who love a great dance experience. Best Regards and Thank You.

I'm relatively new to the wcs scene and came to Fresno last weekend for the first time. I wanted to thank you for a great weekend. All the little touches really made it stand out from other events. For example, even though it seems like a small thing, serving free ice cream and pizza in the middle of the night was brilliant. Also, maybe it was because by Monday nobody had slept for 72 hours but I was in tears at the gong show. My friends and I had all had a fantastic time.

The military" theme is the best ever . . . thanks Steve. Being a Vet, my eyes swelled quite a few times while we were in the ballroom! It definitely hit home! Glad I at least got a chance to say "hi" and introduce myself, sorry to do it in the middle of the comp! Just got home (have rehearsal tomorrow for a showcase I'm in next week-end), but wanted to congratulate you on such a great event. It was so much fun...and so many nice people (and staff). Loved the tribute/s to the troops. You put a smile on my face many times over...and you looked great in all your outfits, but the suit today was the best! Handsome man! Thanks again for accommodating my "on again/off again" schedule, so glad I didn't miss it all.

Buz and I had a long flight home and we reflected back on all of the competitions that we have attended to include country, and swing since 1996. We have decided that we had the best time at your event!!!! We truly had a ball. We felt like kids, playing silly games, dressing up, making new friends, and best of all raising money for the USO. We are hoping to bring our Tampa friends back next year, and will brag about what a great time we had! You really know how to throw a great party!

I am a fairly new dancer and have been to 4 dance conventions but nothing can compare to the wonderful experience you provided. The memorial day service was fantastic. The ice cream, pizza, happy hours were event planning at the best level. As I said when we spoke you are a most interesting man and a class act. Thanks again for a lovely time. Dear Steve(and everyone who helped make this event the best yet..), I thought I had a great time last year, my first year, but apparently that was just a warm up for 2010! Everything was perfect! Glad you added Sophisticated Solos and keeping the Master's Solos. Laura and I hope to be competing in Masters Solo next year at FreZno. BTW – the Rest Home Rowdies are not done yet! I know you are bombarded by thank you messages regarding your event but I didn't want to miss droppng you a line and expressing my thoughts. It's the best...the absolute best and always has been. It just keeps getting better and better each year. I brought lots of friends this year and they all had a great time. It's always great seeing and chatting with you and Wendy.
